Social Media/Content Strategy Intern

The social media/content strategy intern will assist in the creation and distribution of content. The main responsibility is to take pre-existing content and repurpose it in various different formats (video, audio, graphics, written, etc.) across different platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, etc.) according to a set schedule.

You will also have the opportunity to create new content such as infographics.

The internship is open to current students or recent grads, and all intern hours are based around class schedules and requirements. Internships are eligible for class credit.

Requirements: 

  • Required to commit to 15 hours per week for remainder of semester
  • Must have some familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook, and Twitter
  • Ability to take written content and repurpose it in different visual formats, with a strong eye for detail and graphic design
  • Strong writing skills required
  • The ability to manage yourself well and meet content deadlines
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to come to our office (off Atlanta Highway near Alps Road)

What will the social media/content strategy intern do? 

  • Take pre-existing content and convert into different formats (graphic cards, blog posts, infographics, quote cards, etc.) and distribute to different social media channels (primarily Facebook, but also YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) on a regular schedule
  • Occasionally assist in the creation of new content in various formats such as new infographics
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our content strategy and make adjustments to content based on analysis of engagement metrics
  • Conduct research on target companies and organizations for promoting live seminars and online training
